Terms of Service
These Terms of Service set out the conditions of use for the AI news summary, analysis, and subscription service provided by AIDEN, with reference to the basic framework of the Korea Fair Trade Commission's Standard Terms and Conditions for Electronic Commerce.
Effective date: April 26, 2026
AIDEN currently provides public article browsing, search, newsletter subscription, keyword alerts, and advertising and partnership inquiry functions without a separate membership registration. If paid services or membership features are added in the future, separate conditions will be announced.
1. Purpose
These Terms of Service govern the conditions of use of the internet-related services provided through the AI news site operated by AIDEN, as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and AIDEN.
2. Definitions
- "AIDEN" or "Service" means the web-based services provided by AIDEN, including AI industry news, summaries, analysis, search, subscription, alerts, and advertising and partnership inquiries.
- "User" means any person who accesses AIDEN and uses the Service, regardless of whether they have registered as a member.
- "Subscriber" means a user who has provided their email address and applied to receive a newsletter or keyword alerts.
- "Content" means articles, summaries, translations, images, charts, reports, and advertising or sponsor materials published by AIDEN.
- "Source material" means posts, press releases, blogs, academic papers, documents, and other publications from external sources referenced in the writing or summarization of articles.
3. Posting and Amendment of These Terms
AIDEN posts these Terms of Service at the bottom of the site or on a separate terms page so that users can easily access them. AIDEN may amend these Terms if relevant laws, service features, or operational policies change; material changes will be announced before the effective date, specifying the date of application and the reason for the change. Changes that are unfavorable to users or otherwise material will be announced more prominently, with a reasonable notice period.
4. Provision and Changes to the Service
AIDEN provides functions for collecting, summarizing, translating, and analyzing AI industry news, as well as search, popular articles, newsletters, keyword alerts, and advertising and partnership inquiries. The content of the Service may change as operationally or technically necessary; in the event of a material change to a core function, users will be informed through a site notice, email, or any other available method.
5. Suspension of the Service
The Service may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, failures, security incident responses, cloud or external API outages, force majeure events, or other unavoidable circumstances. AIDEN will provide advance notice of foreseeable suspensions and, following emergency outages, will provide information to the extent possible after service is restored.
6. Subscription and Cancellation
- Users may apply for a newsletter or keyword alerts by entering their email address.
- Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time via the unsubscription link at the bottom of any email or by submitting a request to AIDEN.
- If an invalid email address, automated bulk subscription, unauthorized registration of another person's email, or subscription for spam purposes is detected, AIDEN may restrict or delete that subscription.
- AIDEN does not currently issue account IDs or passwords for general users. If a membership feature is introduced, the conditions for registration, withdrawal, and eligibility restrictions will be separately announced.
7. Notices to Users
AIDEN may notify subscribers of necessary information by email. Notices applicable to all users may be made by posting on the site, on the terms page, on the privacy policy page, or through similar means.
8. Users' Obligations
- Users must comply with applicable laws, these Terms of Service, and any guidance posted on the site.
- Users must not use another person's email address or personal information without authorization.
- Users must not engage in automated scraping that interferes with the normal operation of the Service, send excessive requests, probe or attack security vulnerabilities, send spam, or distribute malicious code.
- Users must not infringe the copyright, trademark rights, reputation, personal information, or business interests of AIDEN or any third party.
- Users must not use the advertising, partnership, or inquiry functions by providing false information or for unlawful or improper commercial purposes.
9. Nature of AI-Generated and AI-Edited Content
Some of AIDEN's Content may be provided through AI-based processes — including automated collection, translation, summarization, rewriting, and image generation — followed by editorial review by administrators. Content is provided for informational purposes only and does not substitute for professional advice in fields such as investment, legal, medical, tax, employment, or security decision-making. For decisions requiring careful judgment, users should consult the source material and official announcements.
10. Accuracy of Content and Corrections
AIDEN endeavors to improve accuracy through source verification, translation quality checks, and an administrator approval process. However, errors may occur due to changes in external source material, automated translation mistakes, omissions in the summarization process, or inaccuracies in image generation outputs. Users who discover an error may request a correction via the inquiry email address, and AIDEN may, after reasonable verification, take measures such as correction, supplementation, deletion, or rejection of the request.
11. Copyright and Restrictions on Use
Copyright in Content directly authored or edited by AIDEN belongs to AIDEN or the rightful rights holder. Users may use Content within the scope of personal, non-commercial browsing and link sharing. Without prior permission, users must not reproduce full articles, conduct mass crawling, compile Content into databases, redistribute Content, use Content as commercial training data, remove source attribution, or distribute Content while impersonating AIDEN.
12. External Links and Source Attribution
AIDEN may display links to source material and reference sources at the bottom of or within articles. The content, personal information handling, payment, advertising, and security policies of external sites are the responsibility of those sites, and users should review the terms of any external site before using it.
13. Advertising, Partnerships, and Sponsored Content
AIDEN may display advertisements, affiliate links, and sponsored content for the purpose of operating the Service. Areas of an advertising or sponsored nature will, to the extent possible, be displayed in a manner that distinguishes them from editorial article content. The terms for advertising products, partnership inquiries, and sponsorship arrangements may be determined through separate negotiations or on a dedicated information page.
14. Paid Services and Refund Policy
Public article browsing and newsletter subscriptions are currently provided at no charge. If paid services are introduced in the future — such as premium reports, paid alerts, or enterprise data offerings — pricing, payment methods, cancellation rights, refunds, and termination conditions will be disclosed in advance and user consent will be obtained, either in separate terms or on the applicable order screen.
15. Personal Information Protection
AIDEN processes personal information to the extent necessary for the provision of the Service. The specific purposes, categories, retention periods, consignment arrangements, cross-border transfers, and users' rights are set out in the Privacy Policy.
16. AIDEN's Obligations and Limitation of Liability
AIDEN implements reasonable security measures and operational management for the purpose of providing stable service and protecting personal information. However, given the nature of a free information service, AIDEN shall not be liable — except to the extent liability is recognized under applicable law — for errors in external source material, the limitations of AI processing outputs, losses arising from users' own judgment, failures in users' environments, or service interruptions caused by force majeure.
17. Restrictions on Use
If a user violates these Terms of Service or applicable law, or interferes with the operation of the Service, AIDEN may take necessary measures including blocking the relevant request, canceling subscriptions, restricting inquiries, restricting access, and preserving relevant records. In cases of serious violations or urgent security risks, AIDEN may impose restrictions without prior notice.
18. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
AIDEN endeavors to handle users' legitimate opinions and complaints promptly. Disputes arising in connection with use of the Service shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court of competent jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act and other applicable laws. Inquiries and requests for dispute resolution may be submitted to hyunmin625@gmail.com.
19. Entry into Force
These Terms of Service take effect from April 26, 2026. Material amendment history for these Terms will be announced on this page or through a separate notice.
