Privacy Policy

AIDEN processes only the minimum personal information necessary to provide its service, with reference to the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the Personal Information Protection Commission's guidelines on drafting privacy policies, and discloses the current status of that processing as set out below.

Effective date: April 26, 2026

Key Processing Items

Required collection: email address · Optional collection: name, keyword alert settings · Automatically collected: visit path, referring domain, anonymized visitor hash, cookies

3. Retention Period for Personal Information

  • Newsletter subscription information: retained until unsubscription or a deletion request is received.
  • Keyword alert information: retained until the alert is cancelled or the subscription is terminated.
  • Visit statistics information: retained for the period necessary for service improvement and security monitoring, and managed in a form that does not directly identify individuals.
  • Inquiry records: may be retained for the operational period necessary for dispute resolution and similar purposes after an inquiry is resolved.

4. Procedure and Method for Destruction of Personal Information

Personal information for which the retention period has elapsed or whose processing purpose has been achieved is destroyed without delay. Personal information in electronic file form is deleted in a manner that makes recovery difficult; where paper documents arise, they are destroyed by shredding or an equivalent method.

5. Third-Party Provision of Personal Information

AIDEN does not provide personal information to third parties except where the data subject has given consent or there is a legal basis. If a feature requiring third-party provision is added in the future, AIDEN will separately notify users of the recipient, the purpose of provision, the items provided, and the retention period.

6. Consignment of Personal Information Processing

AIDEN may consign part of its personal information processing operations to, or make use of, the external services listed below in order to ensure stable service operation.

Processor / Service Consigned Tasks

The details of each service — including the country of transfer, retention period, and safeguards — are governed by the respective service's policy, and any changes to the major services used will be reflected in this policy.

8. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information

  • Administrator access rights are restricted, and passwords and API keys are managed via environment variables.
  • Database connection credentials and external API keys are not stored in public repositories.
  • Session-based authentication and request-origin verification are applied to administrator functions.
  • Service errors and abnormal requests are reviewed through logs.

9. Installation, Operation, and Opt-Out of Automatic Collection Devices such as Cookies

AIDEN may use cookies or similar technologies for the purposes of maintaining administrator login sessions, site visit statistics, and advertising performance measurement. Users may refuse or delete cookie storage through their browser settings. However, restricting cookies may limit the use of certain features such as administrator login and subscription confirmation.

10. Collection of Behavioural Information by Third Parties and Personalised Advertising

Where advertising is enabled, advertising partners such as Google AdSense may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve advertisements, measure advertising performance, and prevent fraudulent use. To opt out of the collection and use of information for personalised advertising, users may use the methods provided by each advertising operator, such as blocking browser cookies or adjusting Google's advertising settings.

11. Processing of Personal Information of Children Under 14

AIDEN does not provide its service to children under the age of 14 and does not intentionally collect personal information of children that would require the consent of a legal guardian. If AIDEN becomes aware that such information has been collected, it will be deleted without delay.

12. Sensitive Information, Pseudonymous Information, and Automated Decision-Making

AIDEN does not collect sensitive information and does not separately create or process pseudonymous information. Furthermore, AIDEN does not carry out automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on users.
